DJ Shaggedelic is from Leeuwarden. Thanks to his elder brothers he was introduced to the psychedelic rock band Ozric Tentacles in 2004, which eventually made him to explore all kinds of psychedelic music. After meeting DJ Paul B & DJ Nilezz in 2006 he found out there was a big psychedelic scene going on which he didn’t know about. Since DJ Shaggedelic went to the Full Moon festival in Germany in 2007, his perspective on life changed completely. Psychedelic trance, and Dark Psy-Trance specifically, became his passion.
For a while DJ Shaggedelic has been building his music collection and since 2008 he has been DJ’ing at home. In his spare time DJ Shaggedelic also likes to work on making his own tracks, sometimes collaborating with NUVER. In 2011 he will play for the first time on an all night Psy-Trance party, at the same time it will be his introduction as resident for 3rd BIT events.
